"Mumkin"

My first "mumkin"

First you will need to get a pumpkin, some potted mums and a pretty ribbon... I don't like the goo so I also had my husband do the gross parts of this project!!  Cut the top off as round as your potted mums...

Then you will see a pumpkin filled with gross goo as I call it....

Remove the gross goo... this is where the husband came in very handy! he also grabbed a spoon and really cleaned the pumpkin out for me...

we made sure the mums fit well and then we took the flowers back out let the pumpkin air dry a couple hours and watered the mums and let them drain..... 

Then I put the mums back in the pumpkin and tied a ribbon around them to make it look a little cuter...

now since this was my first attempt at this I'm not sure how long the pumpkin will last but it was about $3 at my grocery store so if I have to pick a new one up every 10 days or so that is fine with me... my first porch is so cute for fall... (we are first time home buyers this year so look forward to more decorations)
